The Resort at Toftrees is a master plan that invigorates and expands the primary alumni guest facilities and private golf course outside Penn State, University. The plan includes at new 100 room hotel, golf club house, full working resort spa, and high-end Condominiums and Villas, all of which are designed to emphasize the views to golf course and surrounding mountainsides. A key dynamic in the master plan was to minimize the impact of the roadways and vehicles on the property, and to place a primary focus on the pedestrian resort experience. Capable of housing the largest wedding parties and the grandest community events, the master plan is a carefully thought out combination of mass, scale, proportion, and interwoven circulation patterns.
