The Cordillera Sanctuary is a very successful interpretation of the grand Craftsman style tradition, and is located within a gently sloped meadow at the Ranch at Cordillera in Eagle County, Colorado.

The primary design challenge with this project was to create a home that successfully incorporates room and view relationships driven by the Owner’s Islamic belief system.

For example, the home incorporates a dramatic octagonal entry tower feature, which fulfills Islam’s requirement to avoid direct frontal entrances. The home also includes a pleasant series of generous covered porches.
