This Bachelor Gulch Lodge is a rich interpretation of the American National Park Service tradition, located in Bachelor Gulch, Avon, Colorado. Set within a dramatic aspen forest, the Lodge includes unique design features such as a 5-ton solid boulder carved out for the master bathtub, and beautiful metal and glass upper cabinets suspended from the kitchen’s log ceiling.

This Residence includes hand-selected “character” logs that are carefully peeled in a manner that achieves the very natural, rustic personality of the home. Massive stone fireplaces anchor the building to the sloping ski terrain upon which the home rests. This Lodge was featured on the Home and Garden Network (HGTV) in their hour-long Special Presentation “Log Homes: An American Tradition.” Vail Resorts identified RMT for this presentation.
