This log and stone home in Mammoth Lakes is a fine exercise in proportion and clarity. The home is located on a relatively tight lot, so the Owner and architect worked side by side to develop a pleasing series of gabled forms which maximize the views from a beautiful great room. The log post and beam structural system permitted the maximum amount of glass in the available wall space, and gives the house a unique and confident clarity, both from the interior and the exterior of the home.
