This Beaver Creek Residence is a synthesis of Colorado mountain architecture and classical architecture. Taking its cues from great American classical and craftsman homes, this “House on a Hill” located at Beaver Creek Ski Resort, Colorado uses rustic materials such as redwood and rough-sawn cedar in more civilized profiles for a more formal architectural effect.

This home is characterized by stepped rooflines mimicking the surrounding landscape. An indoor-outdoor pool complements the design and provides a very hospitable and naturalistic exterior grotto space for the private wing of the house. A grand central lobby anchors the surrounding living spaces.
